One day I will make a post about an outfit that does not include stripes, but apparently today is not that day! I've just been obsessed with stripes over the last year and find myself constantly adding to my collection of striped clothes (oops!). The detail on the sleeves of this top, though, is absolutely perfect. They come out into a belle sleeve, but are open and tie underneath. The best part about this top? It is under 10 dollars! It fits a bit small so be sure to size up if you do buy it. It is a bit short in the torso and tight, but there is also a zipper to help with getting it on. I'm wearing a size medium and could have easily bought a large and been comfortable. The shoe's sizing is also in China sizing so be sure to find your exact size, but I absolutely love these! They're a suede like material with a block heel and they are under 15 dollars!

Some of my absolute favorite trends from this summer have been cold shoulder tops, ruffles, and embroidering and this top covered all the bases with that! Stripes are my favorite for every season so summer has been filled with tons of stripes. This is the top I pulled out of my closet for the Fourth of July this year because it was light and cute, but the blue stripes covered 2/3 of the colors, which I was told I was wearing no red so next year I'll have to be sure not to forget the red!

The embroidering on this top is so lovely that it makes me want to buy a ton of embroidered tops. It adds such a different element without being too much of a 'in your face' design. Here's a closer look!

4th of July Outfit Inspiration + Favorites

 Picking out an outfit for a holiday can be extremely stressful, especially if you can't decide if you want to be subtle with colors, like red, white, and blue, or if you want to be much more noticeable. I personally prefer to make my outfits much more subtle when it comes to holidays and these outfits reflect that. Red is also a color I do not wear much of so my outfits are mostly blues with red accents. like these adorable tiered statement earrings. Each of these outfits can be casual or much dressier if you need them to be.
